This year's Sufi Music Festival in London aims to offer a small taste of the passion that Rumi talks about. Caravansary presents a weekend of workshops including Sufi meditation, performances by internationally known artists, Sufi music and musicians. The Festival launch on Friday evening is with Nihavend Ensemble performing classical Turkish Sufi Music. This is followed by Sufi Music workshops on Saturday including Ney and Frame Drum. In the evening, we have a concert with Rumi's poetry and music, which will sooth hearts and minds. On Sunday we have further Sufi Music workshops and events, culminating with a performance of Persian Sufi Music. The Festival will end with an authentic Sufi Meditation, exploring the passion and love of the Sufis. Caravansary is also pleased to offer a Rumi Festival later on in the year to celebrate the 800 years of Rumi.
